Why didn't she dump pierre?

It irritated me that they didn't make her make a decision, but instead, decided her happiness was all that mattered. Their misery didn't matter at all.

When the truth came out, I wanted Pierre to dump her, as it was the least she deserved. In fact, I wanted them both to dump her! She didn't deserve either one of them! Especially the way she selfishly stringed John along, knowing she had no intention of leaving Pierre. It was just cruel.
