What happened to the girl in white on the train?
*SPOILERS*
Did Max have to have sex with her while she was dead, or did they kill her afterwards? Worse yet, did he have to kill her?

... she was already dead when they forced him to have sex with her.
They killed her in advance, he wasn't involved in the murder, he "just" did what they wanted him to ...
Question in return: Can you call it a rape when the person you're raping is already dead?!
I'll reach for the stars as long as I don't get burned.
Well considering that you can't be willing or unwilling when you're dead I would think that it wouldn't be rape, just everyday necrophilia.
shareFrankie: just "everyday" necrophilia? Interesting! Never really appealed to me!

I'd say it's a rape on the person who has to do it. A rape on his soul.
Still monstrous that he had to do that!
I love you so much that I could die! I'm an old bastard, Tommy, but I love you!
well.. I was coming to ask this question because the scene confused me a little, but now that I know I wish I did not.
shareSome of the scenes from this movie get worse and worse the longer you think about it....
It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings.
where did you get the necro bit? I couldn't understand what was happening. I guessed they were going to make him have sex with her but the scene is just so abstract I couldn't tell what was happening.
share... Icannot tell you as I do not remember everything.
It's been 4 years since I last saw the movie.
It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings.

You should better READ the responses here more carefully before writing insulting messages:
I wrote above at the beginningof this thread the following:
"... she was already dead when they forced him to have sex with her.
They killed her in advance, he wasn't involved in the murder, he "just" did what they wanted him to ..."
I wrote that some years ago. It's not my fault if people answer my response YEARS later. But as they answered me, I answered back and told the truth, which is: I don't remember.
So - READ first and then open you mouth.
or better: Shut up and stop offending people round here.
It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings.
tntales - he says later what happened. He still says it kind of cryptically.
sharehow was it abstract? he tells horst after they got off what had happened. he was breaking down.
shareActually "that necro bit" comes from the play where it is more than obvious that they kill her first then demand that Max prove that he's not "Bent". It is not very obvious in the movie, unless it has been cut - which is possible.
shareConsent was not given, therefore it is rape.
I don't know why everyone thinks she was dead. He is taken into the car where she is sitting on a chair, she looks up at him, the camera swirls around to imply that something dizzyingly awful is about to take place.
He later tells how he was forced to rape her.
"First you ask if you can be red, knowing that I'm always red."
She was dead. Max says she was dead, and there is a flashback that shows him cradling her dead body while the Nazis laugh at him, and it's implied that that is right before the made him have sex with her. It really couldn't have been clearer unless they actually showed it.
