The no sex sex

I have always wanted to know did anyone else find the scene where the two guys talk sex but don't touch and manage to find sexual release the most erotic moment {ever} on film.

It was both thought provoking and emotionally charged.

This film changed me in some way, it was haunting!!!

reply

I never seen anything like that before
it was powerful

reply

Extremely, beautifully powerful, and brilliant acting from both actors.

reply

I thought it was very well done, extremely powerful

reply

I agree ... to be honest i consider this the most erotic scene I have ever seen ( I just have to remember it to have a turn un )

reply

Just goes to show, that our brains are our biggest sex organs.
Must have been a hard to scene to shoot and act, to keep the intensity up, dont you think?

Amazing!! Probably the best sex scene ever! (I may be exagerating here, but it must be at least one of the best)

It was very powerful and so well acted... I agree with kirsikka, this must have been one terribly difficult scene to shoot and act, but they did a brilliant job!

wherever, whatever, have a nice day...

reply

I was thinking that myself. I wouldn't say "ever" but it was definitely erotic and hot. Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks so.

reply

I agree. My eyes nearly fell out of my head. It was *well* acted.

reply

I agree. I've read reviews where people thought that the scene was inserted as a crowd pleaser. I thought it was very moving.

reply

That scene was not inserted as a crowd pleaser. I know you didn't say that, but I want to clarify for those who think it was. That scene is in the original script of the play written by Martin Sherman, on which this movie is based. You think it was erotic in the movie...to experience that being performed on stage...now that was erotic.

reply

Yes. No sex sex is the best kind of sex on film. Like that one scene in "Laurel Canyon."

reply

Not the most erotic moment ever, I think either Cruel Intentions or Brokeback takes that award, but it's certainly up there in my top ten. That was, very, VERY well done. People say that Jake and Heath were brave to do Brokeback - they never saw Bent... Well done Clive.

reply

Completely agree. It was so unexpectedly moving-I admit I cried a bit at the end of that scene, just from the intensity of it I think.

(And if this was one of the reasons this film recieved an NC-17 rating, I just have to smile a bit at the irony.)
