There were no clue i got how she got that kid? Her husband came back? Or she married again? Or came it by mr. Chow?

But that should mean they actually had intercourse in their period together. The child is old enough to be mr. Chows so, guess we'll never know

Its not possible that they had intercourse. Because they never wanted to be like their spouses. Actually it is very disturbing maybe i do not understand what Wong Kar Wai wanted to mean....:(

Originally Wong planned to have the 2 characters make love only for Chow to turn on her saying he only did it to prove she was a slut like his wife, very dark, and years later her sees her with her kid and the implication that it could be his. In the deleted endings for the film it's made clear it's her and her husband's child, it's strongly implied she stayed with her cheating husband. As it stands it's a bit more ambiguous.
