Why does Chip want so much to hear a story...

...about a Christmas he lived through last year ? He was there, he was completely involved in the entire thing ! Did his memory get erased when he transformed from teacup to kid ?

Then again, I've always wondered how Chip can clearly be about six to eight years old when the spell's been around for ten years, according to the 'Be Our Guest' song. Is 'Mr. Potts' hanging around in the kitchen somewhere ? That'll lead you to a truly weird area of thought...

I guess he's supposed to be ten. Or he was sort of "frozen" at a younger age when the spell went into effect.

At any rate, it does seem a little weird at first, but then again, a year feels a lot longer to a child. Any length of time does. And kids can easily get all excited to have adults recount all the details of their adventures that happened only a short while ago. Hell, my family will record something we do and then say, "Let's go watch the tape!" In other words, "Let's go watch us doing what we just did ten minutes ago!" XD So yeah, this isn't really all that odd, lol.

Lol I was thinking the same thing.
