Does Clooney looks too noticeable in costume?

Not sure he would've been any better with a different script or writers or directors but Clooney doesn't disappear in costume like Keaton, Bale and Pattinson, those guys have a lean frame when you put a muscle or armour suit on them they disappear in costume which helps to distinguish Bruce Wayne from Batman, Clooney doesn't have that, Clooney is a stocky guy, he doesn't have a lean frame that Keaton or Bale have, when you have this stocky rectangular face guy with a dead eye impression and bobble head movements and smooth talking voice it's a dead give away Bruce Wayne is Batman.

Yes he was the less convincing Batman of all

I read here that a fundamental problem with having somebody like George Clooney as Batman his that is persona is just too big for the role:

The best Batman actors are usually chameleonic character actors like Christian Bale or Val Kilmer or actors with relatively low-profile personas like Michael Keaton. Otherwise, the potential is for the star to overshadow the character. Robert Downey Jr. could get away with having a big personality with Iron Man because Tony Stark is meant to be a flashy, arrogant little prick.

I'd agree with that. I'd add that Clooney seemed embarrassed to be wearing the suit. That's what came across to me, anyway.

I think after the events of Batman Forever he came to embrace his Batman persona so much that he no longer concerned himself with trying to hide his identity.
