The most underrated Batman film ever

This film is a homage to silver age Batman especially the Barbara / Batgirl part was pure silver age thing mixing her with Julie pennyworth was the greatest thing ever. Lack of knowledge to comic book made this film flop the same people who hated it loves to praise the zero accurate garbage crap bullshit Nolan trilogy and the shitty joker film .

Uma Thurman is hotter than a nuclear bomb as Poison Ivy in this movie. I wish there were at least one scene in which she gets naked or has sex with Robin or physically/biologically/anatomically gives birth to plant babies.

😮 Whoa, I'm not sure you'd ever get this in a Batman movie, at least that isn't fan-made.

It's complete garbage.

Maybe it could be a film like Species (1995) in which Poison Ivy is searching for the most ideal mate to conceive her plant children and will kill anyone who gets in the way.

I was a kid when this came out but I remember feeling very "meh" about it. I didn't hate it but I didn't particularly like it either. I haven't seen it in years but I cringe at some of the clips i've seen online in recent years so I'm sure I'd enjoy it even less now.

It's definitely a bad film, but nowhere nearly as bad as people say It is. Batman Forever is waaaay worse. At least this is kind of entertaining. BF is just boring, something B&R never is.

I will say that Uma Thurman, whilst hot as hell in this film, is abysmal in it and I genuinely like her as an actress.

The opening was great.

I'm the opposite. In terms of being a movie for the big screen and after having watched Batman, Returns, Forever and Robin, I thought Robin was the worst one of the lot. If you watch some of the original Batman stuff from the sixties then you can see that this movie fits in more with that rather than as a film from the newer 1990s franchise.

I also thought Arnie was even more wooden than normal in this, and he didn't seem that into it. Maybe it was just the make-up!
