Charlie Sheen played a great psychopath here!

Boy, Charlie Sheen was frightening as the psycho next door neighbor. While all the performances here were okay, I thought the film could have used a stronger script in the second half of the film. Charlie and the rest of the cast do well with their parts. I just wish the ending confrontation between Charlie and Mare Winningham had been longer.
Anyone agree?

Oh yes, he's marvellous, I love him as psycho. Bummer that he dies, I'd wish he kill the wife and escape.

After hearing the latest event with his wife, he might've been playing himself to an extent...

Maybe that is why everyone thought this movie was convincing. I thought this movie was delightfully terrible, and was cracking up the entire time.

I think Sheen did a terrific job here, and in light of some of his recent experiences, it's even more intriguing. The script and direction of this film are a bit flat, but the performances and atmosphere were fairly strong. I agree that the confrontation between Sheen and Winningham could have been longer and better handled – I like this more as a him vs. her film than him vs. the family and the cops.

Yes he was great as the neighbor from hell.
