I don't mean to come off as an a-hole since I've never seen the film, but hearing about how horrible it is is tempting me to rent it to see how bad it really is. I'm pretty sure, like all comedies these days about babies, it's all poop and diaper jokes. Am I right?
shareNo, actually it's pretty good, it's particularly funny I think when Sly hypnotizes people and when two men from Babyco figure out Sly's going to hit them in the groin with the ski on the staircase, and despite their knowing better of what to do, it still happens.
sharenot nearly enough diaper/poop jokes. i thought it would be much worse...as in really gross diaper/poop jokes and to my surprise the ones that were here were quite mild as opposed to say what i thought might be the case. (ie one of the babies can hypnotize people into doing whatever he tells them to do---and he does not tell them to eat diaper poop which is what i predicted would happen, instead he makea the guy pick his nose.)
there's really only two poop jokes that i can recall---one where the main baby jumps into a vat of them in order to escape from the lab he's bein kept prisoner in...(gimme liberty or gimme death he says only to then say ugh i should've chosen death!)
the other one was when he's trying to get the other babies to rally together to form an army to fight the bad scientists...we have to use our secret weapons---and what's that? what's the one thing that grown ups fear about us babies? dirty diapers! you're wrong! well they make those faces when they chage our diapers. huh?
there's that it. very very tame. honestly after all i heard i expected far far worse.
