Remake
It would be cool to see a remake or more serious update to the Avengers. Maybe Jennifer Lawrence and Michael Fassbender could be the stars this time around.

shareIt's not necessarily an Emma Peel that's needed. In the original series Steed had three female colleagues and they were very different. Though I too remember Emma Peel best and I also thought Thurman was wrong for the film role as written.
I think Jennifer Lawrence would make an interesting partner (I want to say companion but that is such a Dr Who term in my head) with a decent script - she'd certainly have the right kind of cool.
