Have you guys noticed that Brittany Murphy always plays someone is isn't quite right in the head?
Is she being typecast, or is she really a nutjob, I wonder? LOL

shareOh, I think she's great. Don't get me wrong.
I just noticed that I own about five movies in which she stars, and in each of them she's playing someone that's a little off mentally.
1. Prophecy II
2. Freeway
3. Girl, Interrupted
4. Don't Say a Word
5. Cherry Falls
I'm sure there are others that I just can't remember right now.
I just wonder if she's being typecast or if there's something about HER that just leads people to cast her in those types of roles.

yeah, she does play people a little off mentally but she is awesome at it.

shareDon't forget Drive, a great movie and one where Brittany Murphy plays, well, you know. She was perfect in Prophecy II. There are girls like that, ones who will try to run the show one minute but then put up with being drug around by the collar the next like when Gabriel took her out of the cafe. I really felt sorry for her when Gabriel told her that she didn't know what she was in for, and I think he did too.

I always liked her psycho characters. She definitely was good at portraying them.
She was pretty cute in this one, in that crazy sort of way.
