The Arrow (1997 - Canada)

I haven't seen the movie yet. However, I watched a documentary on The History Channel about military jet aircraft projects (or something like that), and it mentioned the "Arrow". It said that newly revealed material showed that the reason that the Canadian government ordered that all the Arrow prototypes and associated machinery for manufacturing it be destroyed, was that it had been discovered that someone on the Arrow project (or someone high up in the Canadian military) had been passing secrets to the Russians, possibly involving the Arrow project. If true, this would explain the sudden rush to destroy all eveidence of the Arrow's existence. However, I believe it's true, because this documentary also showed that the Mig-25 Foxbat, which came out in the 60's, bears a slight resemblance to the Arrow, and it had many of the same capabilities, AND---it was made of Titanium, just like the Arrow.

thats a load of bull the mig 25 as you said came out in 60s and if you want to get technical about it it came in 1968 10 years after the arrow was cancelled and lets face it at that time the arrow was very popular so they could have learned all about it replicated the technology and besides even if they did know about the arrow it wouldnt cause them to shut it down if anything they push to advance the fighter so as the new technology would be counter the old.
and if you really want to get technical take a look at the front veiw of sr-71 blackbird the cockpit nose design is very similar

rational thought can be alot like denial
