A few weeks ago, I picked up a copy of the Arrow film on DVD. Great extras! It was in the discount bin at Wal-Mart.
The DVD is now out of print (according to an Avro Arrow web site), so if you find a copy... get it while you can.

Yeah, a good price. It's too bad the film is out of print now, it's a story that deserves to be told. Until I saw it in the discount bin, I never saw it in the stores.
shareI believe I've seen it around some places, long ago. I never would've thought of picking it up until I saw it. It was so cheap, and about Canada and the Arrow. I've seen one of the replicas while on vacation in Alberta as a kid. My dad told me it didn't work, the engine was removed or something.
I decided to check this out to learn more, and a big sticker said "Limited Time Only", and did I mention it was cheap? A lot to watch for such a low price. It's got me more interested in Canadian history. The none school textbook history. I might even check out Canada, Russia '72, another true events film. I've seen that around for under ten bucks.

Our local library has the Canada Russia '72 on DVD.. I remember a little of watching it on TV way back in '72.. might be nice to watch it again...
Yeah, for $5, The Arrow was a good find. Lots of goodies, and they themselves make up the value of the disk right there.
