Did Elias Koteas' character think they were going to have sex?

In the scene before he gets stabbed, did he think they were going to have sex? I'm confused.

Yes, I believe that is what was implied. His line about McKellen's character maybe giving him $10 in the morning would seem to support that.

Also, he said "I can be nice, just like the boy," implying that he thought Dussander/Denker was having sex with Todd as well.
