Are there different versions??

I just wondered if anybody knew if there were different versions of the film. Because when I watched the scene where Sean Bean was looking down into Sophie's cleavage, all of a sudden they ended up half-naked on the floor, huffing and puffing and sweaty, after I assume they have consumated thier love affair. I'm guessing that a lengthy sex scene was cut out, as I saw the movie on a sunday afternoon on one of the many sat channels.

Another post on here, mentions the end where Anna's dismembered body is shown in the railway station. But the version I saw, just showed her laying on a table, like she was asleep.

I saw the film yesterday late in the night and it was as you describe it.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Omg, people...don't you read? Ever?
I am shocked by question if there is any other "version" of the movie. Guys, the movie is absolutely based on book. And despite many details that were not potrayed in the movie, even if you haven't heard of the book or other movies... only the name Anna Karenina itself is known for "she died under the train".
And as for douzens of other interpretations and the last one with Keira as Anna - it can be not obvious to many but yes, she killed herself anyway. It's a shame you dont even know the version (year, director, actors?) of anna karenina you've been watching but only remember that "she layed on the table".
