Train platform

She was the princess, but was she really well-known by sight to all the people? That night, she was a little girl in a plain coat and nightgown who was trying to catch a train. There was nothing on her to definitely identify her as a member of the royal family, and she had no memory of who she was. With the rest of her family (except Marie) dead, no one was looking for a missing princess, because they assumed she'd died as well.

Suddenly finding a princess in the middle of a train station would have just been so out of the ordinary that it just wasn't considered a possibility by any of the people there. Think of all the people who have probably passed celebrities in the grocery store and not realized it. If you're not looking for someone, how can you realize you've found them?
