Horrendous movie

It's on HBO in 1 minute. I'm gonna try to watch.

The opening credits go on too long. Distracting. Sylk clearly can't sing for shyt so hey suprise Billie can =) When she does her first impromptu "mouse squeak" for the mic at Dice's niteclub are we supposed to wet our pants? Hehe. Finally the geeky hat comes off and Billie blossoms (dresses like a slut). Ok, she gets picked up by CMZ records and goes out with Dice to eat snails (is this a date?) Dice is cute and can play marimba so they f@ck (didn't see that coming =) Hey it's "Moira" from Clear and Present Danger "Kelly" - vaguely annoying character) Enter the Yamaha DX7 and some songwriting (yawn). Billie gets famous and successful all is well, so I'm waiting for the inevitable sour turn in the plotline. Yep, right on schedule, Dice turns evil, coming out of the awards show with unbuttoned shirt and gold chain with "DICE" medallion - oh please, what a wanker. Enter good-looking imposing male Rafael. Pretentious/jealous Dice is obviously on his way out. Oh Em Jee! Dice beats up Timothy (who later gets even and then some). Billie dumps Dice - me and the cat are outta here! Time for a montage of wandering the street "what should I do?" moments. Then re-enter smooth Rafael (Billie's boobs got bigger) and they make a typically way-over-produced sounding song mostly consisting of a drum machine and breathing noises. Just when I'm going to fall asleep again Dice gets killed right before Billie's big concert. Weepy reunion with Mother, let's have a good cry. Woa nelly - that's it. Roll the credits along with another breathy tune belted out by Ms. Carey. Wow I made it! I, Captain Bob, have sat through "Glitter" and lived to tell the tale!!! It definitely sucked but not as badly as I expected.

Sorry for the long-winded monologue. I just had to get through this "worst movie ever" one time.

horrendous? thats not half of it. its sooo bad it makes it look the worst torture by military folks.

It's a bad movie, but the cast was all around bad. Only Terrence Williams ended up with a decent career as an actor, since he was in Hustle and Flow where he made an otherwise horrible film watchable and it got him an Oscar nomination.

Eat magic mushrooms and watch this. You will see it in a whole new light!!
