I love that this is supposed to be in the 80s

Even though Mariah always has the latest 2001 hairstyles. Not just her. Almost everyone in the movie has a 2000s hairstyle. Took me completely out of the film.

80s fashion was poplar in 2000s so it's not _quite_ as bad as it seems

It was really believable that it was in the 80s.

It looked 80's to me.

I was a teen in the 80s and I thought they did a pretty decent job with the styling...especially the eye make-up.

I had a hard time figuring out when in the 80s this was supposed to be. The hairstyles didn't look right. That feathered hair was big, especially in the early 80s, big hair for the ladies. I didn't seetoo much of that. I don't remember anyone having hair like the guy who was the romantic lead. I thought his looked straight out of the 2000s.

I was pretty disappointed that they didn't fully embrace the early 80s concept, because I think that post-disco/early MTV period was especially interesting.

Yeah, this TOTALLY looked like the 80's. You know, with the several people visibly talking on cell phones, the early 2000's fashion and hairstyles, and the musical genres constantly playing in clubs, even though those genres didn't become popular until the early 1990's at the EARLIEST.

It had an 80s feel....yes, but it still felt like a little bit of the early 90s and 00s. I agree they should have made the hairstyles big when i think 80s I think big hair, the fashion was kind of on point. The music had an 80s feel.
