Perhaps, the sensitivity tends to be higher?

I also think, generally speaking, that lesbian films are better than gay male films. Perhaps the female films deal more with relationships, and the male films deal more with sex?

Anyway, even though I don't think of this as a "lesbian film" (just a film with a lesbian subplot), I found it very compelling and honest, well acted and directed. 7/10 stars from me.
