The Best Scene

That long and rigorous monologue delivered by Ms. Christie with effervescent wit and aplomb wherein she explains being trapped in the bloody closet with Jack Dana while filming has got to be the best scene in the film. Notice how the camera seduces us with a very long and caressing take, ultimately ending with a closeup showcasing Ms. Christie's undiminished grace and beauty. It literally took my breath away.

I 100% agree with you. I think that may just be the greatest moment of her career, pity barely anyone has seen it. Every line is so perfectly delivered that it doesn't sound like a written line; it just sounds like her character telling a story. Hauntingly beautiful and melancholy.
