One thing you have to gice to GM cars and truck (for the most part): Very competent powertrains. That Ciera probably had the corporate 3800 "Buick V6" which was an amazing motor that lasted many decades. Lots of torque and quick acceleration. We had an Oldsmobile minivan in 1994 with an updated 3800 and the thing would lay wheels all day long.
