Every American should watch this film

It's amazing how many people believe that segregation is ancient history. There are people alive today who are still mourning the victims of Jim Crow. Every American should watch this film and remember that.

actually it is time to move on... Spike Lee is doing an injustice to humanity stirring racial tension, he loves and feasts on it... if you call that doing the victims justice you are sadly mistaken.

the media sells it and you live the role -Ozzy

Gosh, you're right. America officially ended racism in late 2008 when they elected Obama. So there's no reason to know about it either as a cautionary tale, or as simple historical information.

Even if you were to assume that race is no longer an issue in the US, this film still has a lot to say about racism and bigotry in general.

Also, I'll direct you to the last few statements in the film, where the lady says that she strives to avoid the anger that naturally results from having an event like this happen to your family. That's not stirring tension -- it's reducing it.

RIP..... Never forget the past!! This is a very important movie about a wicked devilish cowardly act that took the lives of 4 innocent little girls. The same evil divisive societal racial tension that existed back then still is very much alive today in America.

Imperialism + Colonialism + Capitalis =s Racism/Classism....
