I have a question. Was this based on the book that was written sometime in the 70s called "Working"? Cause my high school recently did "Working" for our fall semester one act play(i played grace clements, the millworker) and the name caught my eye, so i just wanted to know if it was the same thing. id appriciate anyone who could tell me!!
shareI dont believe so. It was a pretty generic name and many of the ideas of this "office life" might not have been imagined in the 70's. But who knows.
shareThe book "Working," was a piece of nonfiction by a famous author from earlier in the 1900's named Studs Terkel. How it got made into a musical surprises me (I have yet to see it). No relation to the TV series except for the title.
