TV show help!

American tv show help!?

I'm driving myself mad trying to remember the name of this tv show. Here's what I remember-

It's a 90s/00s American tv show set in college dorms. The guys have one room and across the hall the girls have one. In the guys room they have a yes/no machine thing on their wall, like an arrow which they use to answer questions (like will I won't I ask that girl out or something).

I remember one episode a female character had an assignment which needed the boys help. They did lots of embarrassing things. It turned out her real assignment was to see the lengths she could get men to go in order to help her.

That's all I remember except that its defo not Saved by the Bell College years or USA high.
