It was an independent film so a lot of people haven't heard of it, but it totally kicked butt at Sundance and about ten other film festivals.
Turns out, he's a really good actor.
Yes it's a WWII movie, but an intimate one. It only has a couple of full-on battle scenes (still plenty of action and intensity), but the characters are SO interesting. This is a good one whether you like war movies or not.
