Nudity?
Wtf was that nudity in the first episode. It was shocking because I thought the series is not pg.
As a man I loved it :P but it was unexpected.
The first 5 seasons ran on Showtime and Showtime wanted to take advantage of its premium status by including nudity in its shows. As a result, they pressured the makers of Sg-1 to include that bit you're referring to but they weren't happy about it and ended up winning out moving forward so that's the first and last time there is nudity in the show (although there are a few instances of non-PG language moving forward). Because they weren't happy with it they later went back and put together a recut version of the pilot that excluded the nudity.
