Favourite world?

Mine was the Immortal world, where there was no real children, and all the people wore old victorian style clothes, and they had mechanical servants and mechanical children. They were also immortal, and were hundreds of years old.

This was the most exciting world, IMO. I loved how they wouldn't let Kathy go because she was the only real child in the world, and the adults were going crazy over who got to keep her.

Plus, the mechanicals were kinda creepy in a cool way.

My favorite was the Immortal world as well, though I liked the Land of the Dragon lord as well - simply for being so pretty!

They could probably have done more to make the Land of the Molochs more interesting, but that was pretty cool as well. The people there were so.. likeable!

I liked most of the worlds actually. The Land of the Dragonlord was cool in it's nature. I loved the concept of the Immortal World and thought it was the scariest, especially when they drag Kathy off to become Immortal. Only to be rescued by Elvo, who, it turns out, has something equally creepy in mind. Shame it didn't really advance the plot, except maybe to develop the relationship between Kathy and Mek.

I liked the one next-door-to-ours as well, especially the reactions of the different characters to meeting Kathy and Josh.

Only one I didn't like was the world of the Molochs. The concept was ripped right off from Terminator. You could escape the Hunters simply by going up or down a flight of stairs *cough* DALEKS *cough*. The only point of it seemed to be to have somewhere for the refugees to go at the end.

Actually, Kathy and Mek being trapped in other worlds did advance the plot, because they had the transdimensional boat and the interface for the oracle, which meant that Ashka and Sharak were free to invade the Dragonlord's palace, and the Morgan family were stranded there.

Plus, it was nice to see Kathy's courage and bravery in the face of other challenges besides Ashka and Sharak.

Ha. Daleks, yes of course. I totally thought that when I watched it.

Daleks, as in those things from Dr Who?
