What happened to? (Spoiler)
So, any speculation as to what happens to Ashka at the end of the series? To be honest, it looks like it was left open for another series, but given that almost a decade has passed, I don't think it'll happen.

shareShe was left in some random dimenshion with nothing, but her power suit. Judging from the rather fierce growl we hear at the closure, it was one hostile dimenshion.

It would have, but imagine Ashka somehow making it out of there (they had pretty advanced tech, I wouldn't put it past them to find a way to travel between dimensions one day) - and being immortal! Nasty...

shareMany Australian children’s and teen shows are governmentally funded in some way.
Many scripts are summated but only a few each year are accepted for funding. Typically funding is given for 13 or 26 episodes for a season.
Not knowing if the show will be funded for another year the show needs to have some kind of wrap-up at the end of the season and yet end in a way that if it is funded it can continue from that point.
Although ratings or popularity of a show has much to do with whether it is given funding for another season other factors also play a part in this decision. Such as it’s educational and moral values too.
I have always been a fan of Australian and other overseas shows. I believe that many are of higher quality do to this rigorous selection process then children and teen shows here in USA.

Exactly. It would have been a perfect set up for a third and final series. Ashka becomes immortal and uses the Immortal world technology to get back to her world. share
