A Question for McFarlane Experts

Hey everyone. I thought this might be the place to seek help with something that's been driving me nuts.

When I was a kid (we're talking early-to-mid 90s) I watched SOMETHING on TV that included footage of Todd McFarlane in his studio. His assistant brought him Taco Bell, they ate, and then Todd was either shown drawing in a moving car, or just talked about doing that, in order to make the last FedEx pickup. I think he also described his drawing implement as being finer than a human hair, which is the main reason I remember this -- I wanted to know what it was he drew with. (I learned years later the Image guys favored Hunt 102s.)

Does this sound familiar to anyone?
