Jade

I just watched this series and enjoyed it a lot, it was fantastic. I'm not actually a fan of the comic, and was wondering: is Jade from the comic, or unique to the series? I'm aware she's filling the role of the redhead angel for hunting Spawn - but does the story follow the same path in the comic as it does in the series, with Jade falling for Spawn and then being hunted down?

Also, I'd like to ask: does the storyline with Spawn impregnating Wanda with his seed appear in the comic as well?
