This probably been asked before but what happened to the kids mother? Was it explained just in first episode and never again. I don't recall all episodes I've seen but assuming I caught the show mid season and have not seen an episode where you hear the father or kids mentioning her.
shareIt's been mentioned in a couple episodes. The last episode, in which Yvette graduates, they talk about their mother. She died when the kids were young. I don't think they ever say exactly how she died though.
shareThanks ~ hate to add to my post but was there ever a picture of her? I know some TV shows that start off from a broken home or with only one parent usually use a model/actor within a picture to claim how the parent looked. Just wondering if this show ever did such?

But seriously ~ you could not come up with a better line than 'The Dad Killed Her'. What are you like five years old ... my nephew who is two can do better than that.
I don't think it was mentioned how she died, but it's confirmed that he did die when the kids were younger.

Ner specified how but. In the third season, the mother was said to have been dead for 4 years. So it wasn't THAT long ago.

When I was little, I liked to think she died from complications giving birth to TJ. Maybe placenta abruption? Or heart problems?
