It's hilarious!! Very sad there isn't more episodes

I think it was that TJ was getting too old. Growing fast and hitting puberty. Watching the 3rd season he grew a lot from the 2nd season and got kinda older looking. Kinda kills the theme of the show. Maybe his voice got deeper and they decided not to do a 4th season. May have just had to do with the actors not agreeing to a deal, different projects, or something like that.

I heard there was a lot of controversy around the drinking episode and that's what canceled the show. I don't know if that's true or not.

That was a fairly heavy episode and really I thought it was also very realistic.

Probably cause Tj was getting older. And about to graduate high school.

I saw a recent interview with Jason Weaver who said The WB was prepping to create shows that played to a more mainstream audience.

Basically:
1. When they started the show, they all agreed to receive the same pay. As none of them were huge stars at the time, it wasn't an issue and the money wasn't terrible.
2. A cast member in Season 3 held out for more money and didn't show up to a taping. He doesn't name him directly but from how he describes the situation, it's clear that the cast member is star of the show Tahj Mowry. That's why there's an episode in Season 3 where TJ isn't featured and the episode centers around Mo & Marcus. TJ was back on set the following week.
3. The situation soured the powers that be on the show.
