Meh...i enjoyed it enough

Yes, his characters are completely believable when fleshed out in a novel but they become over the top when actors try to pull them off on screen.

I blame Hollywood for that. Well, actually I blame King for that. He goes for WAY too much star power in his films. You don't see a Stephen King film. You see a Kathy Bates film. Or a Matthew Maconaughey film. They overshadow the very work they are portraying.

In my opinion.

I don't think he wrote the misery or dark towers screenplay or had any part in casting those films.
