And the 'Roar' narrator is...?

That voice - I know that voice. I watched for the narrator credit in the Pilot episode, but saw none. Nor is there a credit here on IMDB. Can anyone out there tell me whose voice that is? It sounds so familiar. I'm not sure it's the same voice throughout the entire series - but in the Pilot episode it's so recognizable, it's just on the tip of my brain. Thanks for your help!

I would also like to know. Anyone know the answer?

It sounds like David Warner. I could be wrong but I'm almost certain.

I think it's Colm Meany (sp?), who was on one of the Star Trek franchises.

That's who it sounds like to me as well.

I'm sure the narrator is Geoffrey Rush, especially as the series is Australian as is Geoffrey Rush.

However, neither Roar nor Geoffrey Rush on imdb identify him as the narrator, or anybody else!

David Warner is the narrator. I did a cross reference check of voices. I played the pilot episode on my computer and a video clip of David Warner from the movie In the Mouth of Madness on my TV and confirmed the voice. I knew offhand that it was Geoffry Rush as he has a very distinct voice and the narrator was not Australian. I'm a big star trek fan so I knew it was not Colm Meany but was curious about David Warner. When I first saw the pilot episode my boyfriend and I knew we knew the voice but just couldn't place it. I have a few movies with him in it and we love watching In the Mouth of Madness so that's where we knew him from
