Did it get a proper ending?

I saw the DVD set in a store at a bargain price, and I was very tempted to buy it, but I was wondering: did this series have a proper ending, or is it one of those that finish on an infuriating cliffhanger that's never resolved?

If it's a bargain price buy it. It doesn't end on a cliffhanger. But it doesn't have a "proper ending" either, but the set is worth owning and I've watched the episodes several times.

Actually I couldn't resist. I already got back to the store and bought it! :-D

Agreed. It's not exactly a cliffhanger but it isn't a proper ending either. Sure they dealt with a certain someone in the second last episode but you just know they'll likely be back. And it's not like they dealt with the threat of Rome.

At least it didn't end like Fastlane.

Even it had not ended properly, for a good price it is worth it to watch Heath Ledger over and over!

i wonder if the producers knew it was being canceled and therefore gave it a satisfactory ending, or had they intended to film more? I guess we will never know unless Shaun Cassidy ever gives an interview about it. Interesting, he was really the person who gave Heath Ledger his first starring role. I wonder if he helped him with some contacts once Heath moved to LA with Lisa Zane. Wouldn;t you love to hear her story of Heath and Roar and their coming to the US? Wonder if she will ever write about it.
