how come Lord Zedd and Rita where no where to be seen?? and The Machine Empire too. I mean Lord ZEdd and Rita said "We're back" at the end of Zeo and NOTHING EVER COMES OF IT! and King Mondo at the end was yelling you havent heard the last of us, and we never saw them too.

shareMy speculation is Rita ended up pregnant after the events of Zeo, accounting for why she and 'Zeddy' are on leave during their Turbo movie cameo, hence their son met way later in Operation Overdrive's "Once a Ranger" two-parter. The Turbo movie is set around Spring 1997 (a month before high school graduation for the teens, who just had Christmas '96 during Zeo), the first 19 eps of Turbo are set during the summer of '97 before the returning team goes to college, then the new team's duration of the season is set during the rest of 1997 as their Senior year starts up. By the time of 1998's start as in Space begins, Rita's likely had her son by now as she's able to attend the United Alliance of Evil meeting with Zedd.
