No he wasn't. They were repairing his suit. I think he's human. We never did see him unmorphed. That sucks

the in space finale was suposse to reveal his identity but he was sort of written out

I've heard many people say they think he's Zordon's son. I asked people who they thought he was on rangerboard.com and that's what they said. I always hoped it was Skull, that would be a surprise!

i can tell it had to be Billy he was the only Ranger that lost his powers too and he could not Morph anymore so Zordon and the A Rangers made him a new suit

The Phantom Ranger was supposed to be someone we knew, but eventually they decided against it. He's just part robot/alien/ghost.

Hell if I know. I heard rumors that the phantom ranger was the son of Zordon or was the spirit of past rangers, but whatever. It would have been nice if we got more of his backstory, but it's just a pipe dream that it will ever be mentioned again (especially with the Legend War coming up soon).

The original storyline was either going to have him as Zordon's son or Justin's father, but instead it was decide to be kept a mystery.
