Those 'detonators' were clearly bombs.

I know that this is poor timing to do a topic like this, but I need to get this out there. Remember how Divatox used "detonators" as weapons for an episode? Even as a kid, I knew that detonators were devices to charge an explosion for a bomb or even set a bomb off like diffusion or something. Did the writers think that the word "bomb" was offensive for a children's show?

All I need is one mic...

It's the same reason why they always said "destroyed" or "vanish" instead of "kill" or "die".

"Destroy them." instead of "Kill them."
"You could disappear forever." instead of "You could die."

It was to make it more kid friendly.
