Rafe and Alison's love story

How many people loved Rafe and Alison together? Would anybody do anything like Rafe and Alison did even though it isn't reality for the person they love? I know off hand that I would unless it was going to kill someone I love or harm them. Hopefully it wouldn't be to that extreme. If anyone responds that would be great. Thanks.

Was the most ridiculous story ever. I loved Ali better when she was in a more realistic relationship with Jamal and had to overcome everyday obstacles and setbacks. The angel/demon/vampire nonsense that Alison and rafe were involved with was a joke and in part one reason why the ratings kept sliding. Just horrible writing.

I don't think the fact that it was a vampire story made it horrible writing--a story doesn't have to be realistic to be good, obviously--but I agree the way they executed it did come off pretty badly, especially when it was a regular soap one minute and suddenly crawling with vampires the next.

Rafe anda Alison were my favorite couple on Port Charles -- I don't care about the supernatural stuff ---- these two had major chemistry off the charts that could NOT be denied...I liked Jamal/Alison at one time but when I first saw Rali on screen that did it for me; I was hooked line sinker...Jamal was good w/that girl who was a werewolf, they looked so pretty together its ashame PC got canceled bc I think they would've had a GREAT LOVE story like my Rali...
I also love Jack/Livvie too, but liked Caleb/Liv as well...but Liv's true love will always be Jack. RALI #1 LOVE STORY ON PORT CHARLES :)

Rafe and Alison were my favorite couple on PC, along with Frank and Courtney. Funny how the latter are almost never mentioned. The chemistry was there from the start but then Sarah Aldrich was written out of the show. I think she and Jay Pickett's real-life friendship was evident in their scenes together and I think their characters should have had more of a chance as a couple. Karen and Joe were too self-righteous for my taste. While Rafe was essentially a good character, he wasn't self-righteous and Alison could be a pain at times, but they were very real in their scenes too.

Sigh, I miss Port Charles.
