Schillinger has to be up there as well! He was willing to KILL children to get back at another prisoner; even allowed his own son to OD in solitary! Talk about mentally disturbed! ;-/

Kirk was straight up evil!
Adebisi was definitely the most repulsive. It's like they took every single racial stereotype and rolled them into one character. The low intelligence stereotype was the exception; Adebisi was very intelligent, he just applied it to all of the wrong things.
Adebisi was not as ruthless as many believe. I thought so too but he showed moments of humanity through the seasons. I just LOVED how he calculated that murder of the despicable Kenny Wangler by putting the gun in the french guys bed. That redeems him for me.

shareSchillinger for sure. Even Keller had shades of grey in him that showed little glints here and there of being ''human''. He was highly manipulative though. Schillinger was on a different level, something highly unsettling about the character and it isn't just the rape or neo nazi stuff. There was a coldness in him that I can't explain. Only the ''Yuri'' guy from the one episode had that quality as well. Schillinger was despicably evil.
Yep Schillinger was in a class all of his own.
shareI wouldn't really name O'Reilly as one of the worst. Yes, he is an extremely cold and calculating guy with no conscience; but he's never been a sadistic bully either. When O'Reilly hurts someone, it's because he has a reason to do so. But guys like Schillinger, Keller, Kirk, Adebisi, Wangler, Hernandez could hurt the others merely for their enjoyement, with no real reason at all.
shareMaybe not the worst but Wangler was pretty bad. He was a brat that would kill you over your shoes. And seemed to be evolving in evil before he was killed off.
Of all? Schillinger was an absolute animal. Him being a white supremacist was not even a tiny drop of the problem with him. He was a hunter of the weak (starting with Tobias) and he enjoyed inflicting suffering. There was just something about him that I just despised, it even made me dislike the actual actor.
I'm with you on this kelly "even made me dislike the actual actor"...it took me years and years before I stopped hating the actor that played Schillinger. That's because he is that good of an actor.
shareI'm so glad that I didn't see the show when it came out, because if this had been my first time seeing J.K. Simmons, he probably would've been ruined for me as well. Thankfully I'd seen and loved him in many other things first, so while this character is a drastic shift from what I'm used to, at least I've got that baseline of liking him from those things. Such an amazing actor!!
shareI think Shirley Bellinger was my least favorite. As the only female prisoner she was nothing but trouble, using her wily ways to get what she wanted. Plus she called Adebisi the n word the racist beeotch.

Even Adabisi was against the idea. He told Kenny no. He said, "Sometimes you have to be human" something Kenny never understood.
Chris is high on my list as the other heartless and cruel sociopath of the show. Evil personified. How Chris Meloni portrayed both him and Detective Stabler so convincingly on Law and Order always amazes me.
