Said and Hoyt- among others....

Seems like when these 2 characters were first introduced, Fontana had other ideas.

1.Blowing up a white owned warehouse (which since Muslims believe in non violence-Kareem's own words, is puzzling and contradictory)and stating "I now run Oz" showed Said like he was going to be a major shyt disturber. I'm glad the way his character turned out however.

2. Hoyt getting the money together for Rebadow's grandson to go to Disneyland seemed out of character for an inmate that was total pr**ck the whole show, and also whacked like 20 people.

Anyone know of any others?

Said could be innocent for real.
I agree that getting money was clearly out of character for Hoyt. Def. one of worst inmate in whole show. He's basically pure evil. Upthere with Schillinger,Robson,Adebisi,Kirk.

Everythign is sort of part of the show.

It could be possible Hoyt only raised the money for Rebadow's grandson and the person he said on the outside to make him seem like he's not a criminal. What I mean is if ever up in court his lawyer could have said " this is a man who has raised money for charity, he's not a monster"
