Re: Death and Dreams -- Jealous Troy

New Acorn TV subscriber here so catching up on all things Midsomer.

Watched the episode "Death and Dreams" yesterday. Was amused by how increasingly jealous Gavin Troy was getting about Dr. Moore and Tom Barnaby. Plus, I found it an interesting parallel to view Troy's adolescent snarky reaction of the apparent closeness between the good Doctor to that of her sociopathic and homicidal children. I think the writers missed a trick in not having Troy voice his concerns out loud after the fact.

He wasn't jealous. Why would he be that? He was irritated and maybe a bit scared that Barnaby would get too close to the annoying doctor.

Troy cares for Joyce, and wouldn't want her to get hurt.
