What is Madeleine's job

In the original film that it's based on, her character was meant to teach Nikita how to tailor her personality to the men she was meant to fool/deduce. In a way it was a finishing school for lady spies. She taught her how to use her sexuality as well has her lady like abilities to charm their intended targets.

She began as that on this series as well but shortly became Operations' right hand and consigliere. I expect she had a junior level title but she was clearly high up in Section One and respected by George and Oversight (if not a little intimidated by her).
