He's not attractive or sexy, why did he get the role?

Probably because he was good for the role?

I mean, by only pointing out that *you* think he's unattractive, are you saying the actors for say, Jack, or the awkward mail guy do it for you?

Because he was awesome at that character.

He pulled it off great. So I would say it was a good call to cast him.

Agreed. He doesn't look like the traditional ladies man but the character had a talent for photographing beautiful women and that gave him the confidence to hook up with them.

He was not a great dresser, he was not an alpha. Every episode, I saying to myself "why did they choose this guy?"
