Jonathan Creek in general is Amazing. Nothing really like it in the states and way too few re-airings of wonderful British shows like this one. However, my one Pet peeve is that the guest actors tend to over-act. Don't get me wrong, some of them give off some of the best performances I've ever seen. But in comparison to all other shows, the overacting is strong with this one.

I think everyone in it overacts. It is very silly but quite amusing.

The overacting is deliberate, particularly as most of the cast come from the comedy branch of the BBC.
