Who let Partible back in?

This show wasn't my favorite when it first came on, but I thought it was fairly decent. However, after Kirk Tingblad took over, it quickly became one of my favorites. Now, however, I just got done watching the "Cartoon Makeover" episode, and I have never wanted to kill myself more. Why did they let Van Partible take over the show again??? The ratings on the show were at their weakest when he was in charge, not to mention it seems like the man can't come up with a single original idea. Why do we have so many cameos from other Hanna Barbara characters? Is that like a law in his contract? Seriously, it sucks!!!!
