I sent an e-mail to "Alliance Atlantis Motion Picture Group" and i quote: "Alliance Atlantis no longer has plans to release the "Once A Thief" series past Family Business, & Brother Against Brother. This decision was made by our business group. We understand and appreciate the disappointment of the Once A Thief fans, but unfortunately at this time the decision stands".

For those of us who didn't see the show when it was originally on (but have bought the box set), please let us know. Also, is the "Pilot" in the box set the original "Once A Thief" movie? If not, is the show related to the original John Woo movie at all?

No, it's not the original movie; it's the pilot for the TV series.

Actually it was the person who replied to me, DJ-ren who asked that.
In any event, they handle the ending situation really well: the the actual episode has the original ending, with the video release ending included on the same disk as a bonus feature. I don't mind that ending being tossed in as a separate feature for completion sake, but I'm glad that the final episode has the original ending.
