Blu-Ray Release??????

I'm just curious if anyone knows if this movie has a blu-ray release date?? This is a classic and need to be on blu!!!

Yes - this movie absolutely must be enjoyed in the best quality available - otherwise it's just not the same! I don't really get this....

Not gonna happen anytime soon. The movie bombed theatrically and even the current R1 DVD is barebones and non-anamorphic; a real "throwaway" release.

I had it on VHS back in the day, but it went missing after I lent it out a lot.
I never got in on DVD because I was disappointed by the release. I remember there being promos on MTV when it came out that I thought should have been on there. They were short character interviews, I think, with each of the room mates (in character.) Would have been a cool extra.

Thought I'd come here and see if there was any chance of a blu-ray. I guess not...

I can only hope that one day it gets a blu ray release.

I disagree with a previous poster though in that the film bombed. It didn't bomb, but it barely broke even. Seems kind of expensive of a film for a teen/college comedy, but maybe they had to pay the leading actors a disproportionate salary or something.

Yeah, I bought the vhs just to have a version. The dvd on Amazon was ridiculous.
