i've seen this hundreds of times

i think this is my favorite movie, but i'm not sure. i've probably watched it over a hundred times since the 90s when it came out

it's got a ton of hilarious scenarios and having zach morris in it just made it better. this movie attributed to my marijuana habit i started 15 years ago, and i mean that in a good way.

my favorite scenes that make me laugh are kinda stupid, but i still find them amusing. the dialogue is hilarious, too. stupid, small things, like cooper tearing out pages in the library, or cliff, lol.

before the "van damme" scene they are running and slip in the wet grass.

he's meeting a chick and he instantly tells her his roommate was jerking off to the freshman facebook. there are too many scenes to name. GRAB ALL YoUR GEAR AND FOLLOW ME!! <---crazy dude who thinks bill gates wants his brain.

i was 14 when this came out, and i set up two VCRs after renting it to make copies. My friends and I watched this religiously and to this day, it comes up in my video playlists every few months. and you are very right, this is such a dark dark topic, yet the movie isn't portrayed in that light at all. it is actually very funny and in a way, the characters are all charming. weird how they turned suicide and death into a well written story.

This was one of my favorite comedies around the late '90s and very early '00s.

This is just one of those movies you can watch over and over again and still laugh at every scene.

yeah, i watched this about 10 times when it first came out. i always thought it was pretty funny and harmless.

These days I'm blown away by the fact this had post-Freaks And Geeks Jason Segel & Linda Cardellini (wearing just a bra in one scene), Alyson Hannigan was still on Buffy & pre-American Pie, on top of Zack from Saved By The Bell. it was teen nerd heaven.
