Music question -- Moreland's quintet

It's been a long time since I read the books, and I'm now in Film 2 viewing the series ... but from what I recall, and his treatment so far in the adaptation, Hugh Moreland the composer is supposed to be mostly a genuine artist.

When he encounters Nick at the hospital he invites him to a performance of a piano quintet he's written. Almost the next scene is that performance. And the music they use strikes me as quite good.

So my question: Did they have something new composed for this, or use an existing well-known quintet? (Obviously not actually well-known by me, but that's alright I hope!)
